Turn into 'SH Dorrington Down Refuge Loop'
Stop at 'SH Dorrington Yard Approach' with the tanks clear of both sets of points.

Uncouple from the loco and run round the tanks:
Reverse onto the Main Line and Stop clear of the points.
Forward passing the tanks and on to the Refuge Siding then Reverse onto them.

Propel into the Yard, collect the loaded tanks replacing them with your empty ones.
The Siding points are manual.

Return to Coleham Yard with the loaded tanks and guard's coach.

Coleham and Upton Magna
Stop at 'Sh Coleham Goods Up Entrance REVE$RSE' clear of the points behind.
Reverse into 'Sh Coleham Goods Loop Siding 4' and couple to Milk Tanks. Manual points in Yard, check route.

Take the loop line via Abbey Foregate to Stop beyond Upton Magna then Reverse into 'SWn Upton Magna Up Siding 2' to End.

Milk was sent to London at times via the Great Central and others via Banbury and Bicester.

Drive into 'SH Dorrington Down Refuge Loop'
Stop at 'SH Dorrington Yard Approach' with the tanks clear of both sets of points.

Uncouple from the loco and run round the tanks:
Reverse onto the Main Line and Stop clear of the points.
Forward, passing the tanks then Reverse onto them.

Propel them into the Yard, collect the loaded tanks and van then replace them with your empty ones.
The Siding points are manual.

Drive to Condover with the loaded tanks and guard's coach to End.

Reverse into 'Sh Coleham Goods Loop Siding 4' and uncouple.

Use the manual points within the Yard to run round the wagons and re-couple.
Drive across the tracks to the Hereford Line via 'SH Sut Br Jcn Main Down 1'.

Continue and Stop at 'SH Church Stretton Down Goods Loop' to End.

Hookagate exchange sidings were a Wartime addition by the MoD after they took over
the Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Light Railway to serve their new ordnange depots.
BR later used them as a rail welding site.

Reverse across the tracks into the Shed Entrance. Manual points in the Shed area.
Stop at 'Shrews Shed LMS Coal Line 1' to End.

Manual points need to be checked within yards. The route is set between them.

Drive forward under the bridge and bring back the empty wagons here.

Leave the Yard and Stop at 'Shrewsbury Back Line 1' beside the station
Stop at 'Shrewsbury Main East Up 1a REVERSE'. This is between the 2 Water Cranes.
Reverse through the tunnel into Shrops Union Yard and Add the Empties to the train.

Drive to Stop at 'Sut Br Jcn Coleham Sidings REVERSE' '

Required: Free from Wayside Works: LSWR Rebuilt 282 "Ilfracombe Goods", 4 Wheel Coach Pack, Shefflex Railmotor.

Drive an excursion back to Shrewsbury Abbey Station.

The Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Light Railway became part of Col. Stephens' empire of lines which were run on a shoestring.

It was taken over by Army during the War to serve many munitions stores built along it.
They added the exchange sidings at Hookagate which were later taken over by BR as a rail welding depot.
Hookagate Halt was removed when the sidings were built
. The halts were by request and had a pole with a diamond shape which could be rotated to face the driver to show if some one wished to board...

There is also a Free Roam: '2GW Shropshire+Montgomery WW' with the Shefflex Railmotor at Abbey Station.

2GW Pas TB Railcar Craven Arms-Kidderminster

Requires DTs GWR Railcar.

Change ends there and drive on to the Tenbury Branch stopping to collect the single line token from behind the signal box.
